On 2 out of 5 start-ups it won't discover the hardware plugged into the USB ports, mouse, keyboard, wireless adapter etc. If I unplug and reinsert the usb ASRock Fatal1ty Z97M Killer Intel RST, it finds the component right away but it gets annoying reaching behind the computer case almost every other turn on.

At first I thought it was the wireless mouse and keyboard so I switched to hardwired to find out it didn't make a difference. It is both on 2. In advanced settings the usb controller is set to enabled.

After reading that the patch is causing other issues and not fixing the intermittent usb operations, I am leery to install it. I waited for a solution and have just dealt with it up to this point Now that the solution has been out and still doesn't fix the issue, I think I'm switching the motherboard out To be fair, this is my 3rd build, so take it as a noob here, but the first two builds are running flawlessly so I give myself a little credit. This is my first build with this board and probably my last. If a solution is found, I will be glad to update this post for those having this same issue and from what I have read I am not alone Mobo looks great and worked perfectly. No issues during install and was easy to OC my cpu. Painless setup, fast setup, updates are easy, rich on features. Some technologies allow the site to function.
